In 1961 an artist, Margaret Peake Benton, did a large canvas

oil portrait of Dr. E. Stanley Jones. The portrait was

probably displayed in 'The Ashram House' on North Decatur

in Atlanta, GA. We are proud to announce that it now hangs

at the Central Office in Ruston, LA. We would like to thank

the family of Dr. Claude Thompson for finding this treasure.

Brother Stanley was a close friend of the Thompsons. In

fact, he lived in a terrace apartment in their home while

writing A Song of Ascents.

We would like to thank Ms. Gloria Davis from the Alabama

Christian Ashram for framing this lovely portrait.
