A GIANT OF THE FAITH HAS COME TO THE END OF HIS JOURNEY
Bishop James K. Mathews died Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
His "Global Odyssey" has ended but his legacy will last
for many generations to come. He was married to Eunice
Mathews, daughter of E. Stanley Jones and lovingly referred to
as "Brother Jim" in Christian Ashram circles. Brother Jim served
as Board Chairman of United Christian Ashrams for over 30 years.
A Memorial Service will be held September 25th at 11:00 a.m.
at the Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Washington D. C.
